After growing up surrounded by folk music, Lucy has always had a passion for the scene. She began her career in music with a marketing role at the renowned music venue, Sage Gateshead, and since then has gone on to work on projects for the likes of Folk on Foot and English Folk Expo. She also founded and edits The Folk Forecast newsletter, which promotes digital events on the scene. When she’s not booking or promoting gigs, she’s usually at them, so it’s fair to say she lives and breathes all things folk!
